The Directv iPad app isn't the smartest app in the world. I mean it turns a wonderful piece of technology into a remote control, wow. I am speechless, literally speechless, who designed this? Who approved this? Cablebision and TWC stream live television to iPad's. and Directv made a remote control. Working for DISH I like to keep up on all the new tech from providers, so of which is cool, but not Directv's app. I think I will stick to using my sling adapter, it stream all my live subscribed channels and my recording to my iPad. Make's the remote seem a little bit simple doesn't it. At any rate, comparison shopping is going to become critical for customers, to make sure the service they chose will have the alternative viewing that they are looking for, but the more informed people are, the better choices they make. http://www.besttvforme.com
